Carlyle Group Inc. and Thoma Bravo have been shortlisted in the bidding for French software company smartTrade Technologies, with offers valuing the firm between €550 million and €600 million. TA Associates has also moved to the final bidding stage. The owner of smartTrade, Hg, is expected to select a buyer by late March, though ongoing deliberations may result in no deal.
