The Indigenous Peoples Commission provided opportunities for high school, vocational school, junior college, college, and graduate school Indigenous students to experience the workplace during the summer. 971 Indigenous youths applied, with 662 being ultimately accepted after a competitive selection process involving local governments and Indigenous employment service offices. The program, now in its tenth year, has offered 4,545 youth workplace experience opportunities, aiming to promote career development and encourage future employment or entrepreneurship in their hometowns. Accepted students will start on July 1st, earning a monthly salary of NT$27,470 until August 31st.
