Indonesia Launches Free School Lunch Program to Enhance Health and Education

Indonesia has initiated a $30 billion program to provide free school lunches aimed at improving health and educational outcomes for millions, starting with around 570,000 students. Initially focusing on students, the program plans to eventually serve pregnant women and toddlers, with 30,000 service units established to distribute meals, while also planning to enhance local milk production to support the initiative.
