As the summer heat and humidity lead to the rapid breeding of disease-carrying mosquitoes, dengue fever has become a major health concern in Taiwan. In response to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, the Product Design Department at Shu-Te University has recently launched a series of innovative mosquito lamp designs to actively participate in mosquito control efforts. Under the guidance of Professor Lin Qunchao, second-year industrial design students have created unique and stylish mosquito lamps that not only effectively prevent mosquito bites and reduce the spread of dengue fever but also add aesthetic appeal and life interest to living spaces. These creative designs will be showcased in the university's exhibition space to demonstrate the efforts and creativity of the young designers.
