After caring for his father during his final years battling Alzheimer's, former college basketball coach Pat Knight was inspired to return to coaching. Knight, who had spent time coaching at Texas Tech and Lamar, made the decision to coach at the NAIA level at Marian University in Indiana, seeking the opportunity to work with student-athletes and honor his father's legacy by teaching life lessons through basketball. Knight values the relationships and impact he can have on players in a smaller college setting, where the focus is on education as well as competition, and is determined to build a successful program while helping players achieve their goals on and off the court.
