Intel Pushes Back $28 Billion Chip Factory in Ohio to 2030

Intel has delayed the completion of its $28 billion chip factory in New Albany, Ohio, to 2030, with operations starting as late as 2031. This decision comes amid leadership changes at Intel following the sudden departure of CEO Pat Gelsinger in late 2024, and while Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company expresses interest in acquiring a part of Intel.
