The Criminal Investigation Bureau received a report from the Customs Administration that drugs were found hidden in international letters sent from the Netherlands. From April to June, a total of 6 individuals involved in the drug trafficking ring, including both members and masterminds, were arrested. The authorities seized various drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, MDMA, LSD, amphetamines, and ketamine concealed in 19 international letters. The operation involved a sophisticated network distributing drugs across Taiwan to evade detection, with the ringleader directing multiple layers of accomplices to handle the drug shipments. The investigation led to the dismantling of the drug trafficking group and the seizure of a large quantity of drugs, resulting in criminal charges against the suspects.
