A company owned by internet celebrity Bone, Satire Entertainment, held an event named '2022 Bone's Interesting Speech! 'Triple Standard'', but did not apply to the police as required by law, nor did they apply for an exemption from entertainment tax. Taipei Taxation Department demanded them to pay 267,009 yuan in entertainment tax. Satire appealed the decision, but ultimately lost the lawsuit at the Taipei High Administrative Court and may appeal further. The court ruled that the event was considered a 'solo comedy performance' rather than a speech, thus upholding the tax agency's decision.
