Federal officials are investigating an unusual rolling motion on a Southwest Airlines Boeing 737 Max caused by a damaged backup power-control unit. The incident, known as a 'Dutch roll,' occurred on a flight from Phoenix to Oakland, California, on May 25. Despite the plane rocking from wingtip to wingtip, the pilots managed to land the aircraft safely. The Federal Aviation Administration, Boeing, and the National Transportation Safety Board are collaborating on the investigation, with no similar issues reported by other airlines.
