Taiwanese stocks rose by 452.11 points on June 19th, with an increase of 1.99%. Investment funds purchased a total of NT$4.092 billion, with significant buying concentrated on financial company Hua Nan Financial Holdings, accumulating over 27,000 shares, and airline company EVA Air, acquiring 17,000 shares. Following the decline in maritime stocks due to the halt of transshipment in Haifa, investment funds switched their attention to airline stocks, piquing the interest of many netizens who speculated on dividend collection through financial stocks and the importance of high dividends. The top 10 stocks purchased by investment funds also included Asia Cement Corporation, with 9,906 shares bought, while EVA Air and Hua Nan Financial Holdings ranked second and third, respectively.
