Investor Martin Shkreli Accused of Sharing Wu-Tang Clan Album

Reported 7 months ago

American investor Martin Shkreli is facing a lawsuit for allegedly sharing recordings from a unique Wu-Tang Clan album that he sold after a conviction on securities fraud charges in 2017. The lawsuit, filed by cryptocurrency collective PleasrDAO, accuses Shkreli of violating their agreement by distributing digital copies of the album, 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin,' which had been auctioned off in 2015. This album, treated as a rare art piece, was purchased by PleasrDAO, who claim Shkreli bragged about sharing the music with thousands of people on social media, threatening the album's value and their ability to profit from it.
