UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev is hoping that Dustin Poirier does not retire after their upcoming fight at UFC 302. Makhachev believes Poirier still has a lot of fight left in him and is a dangerous opponent who can beat anyone. While Makhachev is focused on his next fight and is open to whatever the UFC offers, he feels it is not a good idea for Poirier to talk about retiring at this point in his career.
