As the Gaza conflict continues to escalate, more and more young men and women in Israel are being drafted into the military. Following a court ruling that canceled exemptions for millions of Ultra-Orthodox Jews, protests erupted on the roads culminating in violent clashes with law enforcement. This move has caused turmoil within the Ultra-Orthodox community that traditionally enjoyed exemptions from military service, sparking fears of social unrest and challenging the government of Benjamin Netanyahu.
