The National Policy Foundation's Education, Culture, and Sports Division convener Chen Xuesheng pointed out that one-third of schools in Taiwan have outdoor sports fields to address the issue of insufficient indoor sports spaces, but in recent years, problems like leaks, pooling water, and noise have arisen, putting students at risk. The Foundation suggested the Ministry of Education conduct a comprehensive inspection of schools' outdoor sports fields. Chen recommended involving relevant stakeholders in the design and planning of future sports fields to create safe and comfortable environments for students.
