At the 35th Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan, Japanese band Ikimonogakari performed for the first time in their 21-year career and sang popular anime songs such as 'Bluebird' from 'Naruto Shippuden' and 'SAKURA.' The lead singer, Seiko Yoshikawa, and guitarist, Yoshiki Mizuno, gave an energetic performance, with Yoshikawa ending the show by thanking everyone in standard Chinese. Originally slated to perform with Sodagreen, lead vocalist Qing Feng fell ill and had to cancel. Ikimonogakari rose to fame in Japan in 2006 with the hit song 'SAKURA' and has since become well-known for theme songs in anime such as 'Bleach,' 'Naruto,' 'Case Closed,' and 'Pokemon.'
