Japanese Yen Hits New Low Again! New Version of Japanese Yen Banknotes to be Issued on July 3

On July 1, the Japanese yen hit a recent low exchange rate of 0.2053, with Taiwan banks offering a cash purchase rate as low as 0.1925. Additionally, a new version of Japanese yen banknotes will be officially released on July 3, featuring figures like Shibusawa Eiichi on the ten thousand yen note, Tsuda Umeko on the five thousand yen note, and Kitasato Shibasaburo on the one thousand yen note. Old versions of yen banknotes will still be accepted, so travelers need not worry if they possess the previous notes.
