Japanese Z generation workers have drastically changed workplace habits compared to previous generations. Many new employees find it a headache to wear suits, answer phone calls, and socialize with colleagues after work. The younger workers no longer adhere to the traditional norms of wearing dark suits, utilizing formal language, or attending social gatherings with superiors, causing surprises among older colleagues. Differences in attitudes towards work-related tasks and socializing with coworkers also highlight the generation gap between seasoned employees and newcomers.
