According to a report by Sanlih News on June 26, 2024, KMT legislator Wu Ssu-yao accused DPP legislator Hsu Chiao-hsin of pretending to show support while actually causing trouble, claiming that Hsu was jealous of the media attention Chen Yu-chen received the previous day and trying to steal the limelight. Wu Ssu-yao further criticized Hsu for bringing a measuring tape and attempting to create a scene at the DPP press conference.
