Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, shared at the AI Summit in Tokyo that Masayoshi Son, founder of Softbank, once offered to lend him money nearly a decade ago to buy Nvidia, stating the market underestimated its value. Huang regretted not accepting the offer, which took place shortly after Softbank acquired Arm Holdings. Although Son no longer holds a stake in Nvidia, both companies announced new collaborations to utilize Nvidia's chips for AI projects in Japan, as the Japanese government intensifies its efforts to revive the tech industry.
