The Hualien County government actively promotes sustainable development goals, organizing activities such as 'No Cigarette Butt on the Ground for a Prettier Environment' and the 'National Water Environment Clean River Plan' for the 113th year in Hualien. Various officials and representatives supported the event, with over 350 citizens participating. A total of 102.68 kilograms of riverbank and coastal trash were collected, with cigarette butts amounting to around 2 kilograms. The cleanup competition urged everyone to contribute to maintaining a cleaner environment, highlighting the need for collective efforts to sustain a cleaner Hualien and create a more livable city.
