They intervened when a man named Zeng was about to transfer a large sum of money as per the instructions of an online acquaintance who misled him into investing in Japanese real estate. Through thorough questioning and counseling, the police prevented Zeng from making a significant financial loss. The Jia City Police actively collaborate with banks to prevent fraud, and in May, their efforts successfully prevented 16 cases of fraud and saved NT$7.8 million, enhancing their anti-fraud capabilities.
