Rivian announced a strong third quarter, achieving $1.55 billion in revenue, a 78% increase driven by early purchases ahead of the EV tax credit expiration. The company reported a smaller loss per share than anticipated and returned to gross profit after two quarters. Rivian is also proceeding with plans for its R2 midsize SUV, expected in early 2026, and expects to deliver between 41,500 and 43,500 vehicles in 2025.
