JPMorgan to Distribute $20 Billion EA Buyout Financing Among Banks

Reported 14 days ago

JPMorgan Chase is set to distribute a $20 billion debt financing package for the leveraged buyout of Electronic Arts Inc. by involving around 15 banks in the underwriting group. This move aims to mitigate risks for JPMorgan, which will retain 40% of the deal, while banks will acquire roughly 10% each. The financing is expected to be sold in the leveraged loan and high-yield bond markets in early 2026, structured to include various loan and bond components.
