Jupiter mother Tracy Ferriter avoids trial and state prison after entering guilty pleas on charges of aggravated child abuse, false imprisonment, and child neglect. Ferriter was placed on probation, ordered to undergo a mental-health evaluation, complete 300 hours of community service, and faced the same charges as her husband, Timothy, who was sentenced to five years in state prison for similar offenses. The abuse took place in the Ferriters' home in Jupiter's Egret Landing neighborhood, discovered by police when the child was reported as a runaway in January 2022.
