A man surnamed Li in Kaohsiung was caught by police on July 6th for running a red light in the Niaosong District. He initially refused to stop for inspection and tried to escape, but was captured after crashing into a parked car, claiming he was 'rushing to work.' Li committed a total of five violations during his escape attempt, including dangerous driving, running a red light, failure to use turn signals, failure to yield to pedestrians, and driving in the opposite direction, with fines totaling up to 52,800 NTD.
