Kazaks: ECB Can Focus on Economy as Interest Rates Stabilize

Reported about 15 hours ago

According to Martins Kazaks, a member of the European Central Bank, the institution has shifted into a phase where it can observe economic conditions without the need for immediate interest rate cuts. With inflation at the target level of 2% and no significant economic shifts observed, Kazaks indicated that further rate reductions are unnecessary. He noted improving trends in manufacturing and emphasized the importance of remaining data-dependent for future monetary policy decisions.
