Keelung Police Visit Dunan Elementary School to Share Best Tips for Protecting Children's Online Safety

Keelung City Police Bureau's Women and Children Protection Police Team visited Dunan Elementary School in Keelung City on June 25, 2024, to conduct a crime prevention campaign on 'Preventing Adult (Child) Sexual Private Images and Enhancing Youth Internet Safety Concepts'. The initiative aimed to protect children during summer and prevent crimes related to adult (child) sexual private images as well as enhance awareness of youth internet safety. The police team shared tips from the iwin Internet Content Protection Organization on 'Best Tips for Parents to Protect Children's Online Safety' and advised students to develop correct online safety concepts to prevent victimization and avoid becoming accomplices in child sexual exploitation, such as buying or downloading child pornography or engaging in solicitation. If encountering sexual fraud, individuals should remain calm, remember to protect themselves, gather evidence, report to the authorities, and seek help.
