North Korea's top leader Kim Jong Un's sister, Kim Yo Jong, has publicly criticized South Korea once again, calling the recent live-fire exercises along the border a 'hysterical suicide' act and threatening a military response if provoked further. She accused the South Korean government of deliberately escalating tensions to evade internal political crises. The tensions have escalated as South Korea conducted live-fire drills for the first time since suspending the 2018 agreement with North Korea, leading to concerns over the situation on the Korean Peninsula. Kim Yo Jong warned that any infringement of sovereignty near the border will result in dire consequences and military action based on North Korea's constitution and duties.
