In Da Li District, Taichung City, a 3-month-old black Shiba Inu got lost and was found wandering on the street by patrolling officers Huang Yongsheng and Song Weide. Despite efforts to locate the owner, they couldn't find anyone, so they named the dog 'Wang Cai' and cared for it at the police station, even considering training it as a police dog. However, two weeks later, the owner, Mr. Lin, came to claim the dog, ending its 'police dog training diary' at the station. The officers had bought a special mattress, puppy food, toys, and even a police rank badge for Wang Cai during its stay. The owner was grateful for the care provided by the officers, emphasizing the importance of microchipping and leash safety for pet owners to prevent similar incidents.
