KKR & Co and Singapore Telecommunications are in advanced negotiations to acquire over 80% of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres for more than S$5 billion ($3.9 billion), which would grant them full ownership. KKR currently holds 14% and Singtel over 4% of the firm, with the remaining stake owned by state investor Temasek Holdings. This potential deal, driven by increasing demand for digital infrastructure amidst the AI boom, could be finalized before the year ends.
