In response to the Kuomintang (KMT) caucus' plan to establish a Mirror TV investigation team, Premier Su Tseng-chang stated that it would be more appropriate to take legal and constitutional actions after further decisions from the Constitutional Interpretation Authority. Following the enactment of the parliament reform bill, both the KMT and the People's Party in the Legislative Yuan requested to exercise parliamentary investigative powers and announced the formation of an investigation team to probe corruption cases. The KMT plans to set up a special team to investigate the 'Mirror TV licensing and subsequent corruption disputes' on the 3rd. Premier Su Tseng-chang emphasized the importance of waiting for further decisions from the Constitutional Interpretation Authority before engaging in any legal and constitutional actions in the future.
