During a recent event, the chairman of the Taiwan People's Party, Ko Wen-je, expressed his support for Huang Kuo-chang, stating that 'what has truly not changed is Huang Kuo-chang.' However, the secretary-general of the Democratic Progressive Party, Lin You-chang, responded by saying that Ko Wen-je often speaks in reverse and that it's not just Huang Kuo-chang who has changed, but also the Taiwan People's Party, which has shifted towards being more align with the blue camp. Ko Wen-je criticized President Lai Ching-te for not contacting the Taiwan People's Party and accused the Democratic Progressive Party of failing to fulfill its promises, labeling it as the biggest fraud group. Lin You-chang further emphasized that Ko Wen-je's statements are often the opposite of the truth, and that the Democratic Progressive Party has implemented numerous beneficial policies during their 8 years in power.
