On July 3, 2024, the Ministry of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) held an event marking the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, where Minister Hsu Hsiao-lan delivered a speech. OSHA has seen significant achievements in occupational safety over the past decade, with the rate of occupational injury insurance compensation per thousand people decreasing from 3.467 to a historic low of 2.222 last year. The event also included discussions on future goals and revisions to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, with various stakeholders in attendance to review the progress made in occupational safety and health promotion.
