Reported 8 months ago

Renowned sports journalist Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that the Los Angeles Lakers will hire retired sharpshooter JJ Redick as their new head coach on a 4-year contract. Redick, currently an ESPN basketball analyst, impressed Lakers' senior management with his communication skills and basketball IQ. Redick, without any coaching experience, will be the Lakers' head coach following the likes of Nash, Kerr, Kidd, Fisher, and Jackson. The Lakers initially sought Dan Hurley as head coach but were turned down. Redick's good relationship with LeBron James is seen as an advantage for his new role in leading the team.
