According to CTi News, the motion for review of the 'Five Acts of Parliament Reform' will be voted on in the Legislative Yuan today. Former DPP legislator Lin Cho-shui expressed shock at Premier Cho Jung-tai and the DPP caucus supporting the review motion during the legislative inquiry, questioning whether prominent figures like lawyer Chen Shui-bian, who proposed a constitutional interpretation in 1993, are all constitutionally ignorant. Lin criticized their stance on past proposals, highlighting the potential unconstitutional aspects. Cho Jung-tai emphasized the need to address contempt for people or parliament, while cautioning against methods that exceed judicial and supervisory powers.
