During a parliamentary session on June 21, legislator Xu Zhijie criticized the appearance of a member holding a Nazi flag at a rally supporting the Kuomintang outside the Legislative Yuan. He questioned the affiliation of the member and accused the Nationalist Party of being linked to Nazis. The debate escalated with the alleged display of a DPP membership card by the head of the German Old Mark Association participating in the rally. Xu Zhijie raised four doubts, suggesting a potential collaboration between the nationalist group and the KMT. Both parties accused each other of double standards, with the DPP clarifying the member's disassociation from the party. Xu Zhijie also questioned the KMT's stance on anti-vaccine sentiments displayed at the rally.
