The test, conducted from April 3rd to 12th, involved flying the final production version of AW609 AC4 from Leonardo's factory in Cascina Costa to Maristaer Grottaglie naval base and subsequently to the offshore aircraft carrier 'Cavour' for various landing and takeoff tests, showcasing its potential for Italian military transportation and logistics capabilities.
