After a 5-year hiatus, Lin Chi-ling made a public appearance in Japan on June 22, 2024. She stepped onto the Es Con Field Hokkaido to throw the first pitch for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters baseball team. With her model figure, Lin wore the team's jersey and tight jeans to highlight her slender legs, becoming a major attraction on the field. Despite throwing a ground ball, the audience cheered thunderously. Lin Chi-ling's poised and elegant presence, coupled with her multilingual greetings, earned her applause and praise from the spectators and local commentators. Acknowledging the nerve-wracking excitement, Lin shared her pre-game preparations, including practicing correct pitching posture with a towel. Her toss, although a grounder, was caught by the catcher, leading to another round of applause and support. Despite feeling slightly unsteady on the mound, her performance was still widely applauded.
