Linnea Strom's Remarkable Victory at ShopRite LPGA

Reported 11 months ago

Linnea Strom achieved an incredible comeback at the ShopRite LPGA Classic by shooting a tournament-record 11-under 60 to win her first LPGA Tour title. Overcoming a seven-stroke deficit, the 27-year-old Swede birdied the last three holes and four of the last five, posting the lowest final-round score by a winner in LPGA history. Strom's victory came after missing cuts in five of her last six events, making her the 15th Swedish player to win on the tour and showcasing her perseverance and determination in the face of doubt. Megan Khang and Ayaka Furue tied for second place, impressed by Strom's phenomenal performance.
