Director Liao Ming-Yi's second film, 'Nightmare of Love,' was shot in about 36 days with a meticulous approach but took an unexpected one and a half years to complete post-production. After initial feedback to shorten the film, Liao realized the positive effects of editing one scene, leading to reworking the entire film, with 1,400 editing points to cut about 20 minutes for a faster pace. The film's total budget was 32 million NTD, with investment from various companies. The challenges in post-production led to valuable feedback from investors, allowing Liao to learn and improve for future projects.
