Reported 10 months ago

After successfully delivering the first Luxgen N7 in June 2024 and launching the new 'N7 Full Electric Special Edition' model, Luxgen has confirmed plans to release the 'N7 Range-Extended Edition' by the end of the year and introduce the 'N5' model, based on Model B platform, in the second quarter of next year. With over 10,000 pre-orders for the N7 and aiming for deliveries by the third quarter to surpass 10,000 units for the year, Luxgen remains secretive about the release dates but is currently in the mass production testing phase for both the N7 Range-Extended Edition and the dual-motor four-wheel-drive high-performance version. Additionally, preparations are being made for the second electric vehicle under the brand planned for next year, and the innovative N5 trademark was registered last year. The N7 Range-Extended Edition is expected to feature a similar power output as the current N7 but with an estimated range of 700 kilometers, surpassing the current 505km and 489km maximum ranges of the five-seat and seven-seat models. The article also reveals Luxgen's further plans for a dual-motor four-wheel-drive high-performance version alongside the Range-Extended Edition in the near future, indicating the brand's commitment to provide consumers with various options. As for the N5, it is described as a compact urban crossover vehicle tailored for city driving, with the production model expected to be launched in the fourth quarter this year, aligning with the second-quarter release schedule for the N5. Despite facing stiff competition from Tesla, Luxgen's N7 has become one of the best-selling electric vehicles, with deliveries expected to remain above 1,000 units in June.
