The Financial Supervisory Commission is reforming health insurance with plans to implement changes in July, resulting in several insurance companies in Taiwan, including Fubon, Taishin, Allianz, and MetLife, announcing the discontinuation of 20 health, accident, and disability insurances by the end of June. Notably, the last accident medical insurance with guaranteed renewal and two disability insurances will also be taken down. The notable impact includes Fubon Life discontinuing 12 policies, affecting popular plans like 'True Heart and Mind' and 'Longevity', along with accident medical insurance policies. This signals a significant shift in the insurance market.
