A man from Indonesia was attacked near the ASEAN Square in Taichung in the early morning of June 9th. After drinking at a nightclub and waiting for his friends, he was followed by two men who suddenly hit him on the head with a bottle before fleeing. With blood all over his face, he managed to walk to a nearby convenience store for help as surrounding shops were closed. The police are now investigating the incident, targeting the two suspects involved and looking into the possible motive behind the violent attack.
