On July 1, 2024, a man drove his car into Taiwan's Presidential Office Building in the afternoon around 3 PM, leaving a message painted on the vehicle criticizing national issues. The man, identified as Mr. Du, has been taken into custody by the police. The Presidential Office responded promptly by having the individual taken to the police station for further investigation into his motives.
