A man surnamed Lin from New Taipei City is facing potential 5 years in prison for dangerously tailgating and side-swiping a car driven by a Mr. Tsai on the highway after failing to overtake. Lin relentlessly harassed Tsai for nearly 10 kilometers, causing Tsai to eventually seek help by reporting the incident to the police. Lin has been charged for public endangerment among other offenses, while his accusations against Tsai have been deemed unsubstantiated by the prosecutor.
