A 50-year-old man surnamed Yang from Tu Cheng District, New Taipei City, walked into a police station last June claiming he didn't have a driver's license and wanted to be arrested. When the police asked him to leave as he wasn't on a motorbike, Yang left but later returned wielding a brick and viciously attacked the on-duty officers before being apprehended and sentenced to 2 months in prison. Despite Yang's confession, his actions were deemed unacceptable and detrimental to public property and law enforcement dignity.
