An incident of robbery occurred at a jewelry store in Qingshui District, Taichung, at 11 a.m. today, where a man pretended to be purchasing jewelry, took advantage of the distraction, grabbed a piece of jewelry, and swiftly fled the scene. The Qingshui Police Station launched an investigation upon receiving the report, and the suspect, a 33-year-old man surnamed Shi, was apprehended in Wuci District within three hours after the incident. The police found incriminating evidence on him, estimating the stolen jewelry to be worth around 300,000 NTD. Surveillance footage helped in identifying the suspect.
