Starting from June 15, the Chinese Maritime Police have implemented the third order allowing the detention of foreign individuals suspected of violating immigration regulations for up to 60 days, as well as the seizure of foreign vessels illegally entering territorial waters, leading to tensions in the South China Sea. Demonstrators outside the Chinese Embassy in Manila clashed with police holding shields, expressing opposition to China's fishing ban and the new regulations by the Maritime Police. Meanwhile, the Philippine government representative criticized China as the real invader who has no right to arrest anyone, especially Filipino fishermen in the Philippines' exclusive economic zone. Before the enforcement of the third order, the Chinese Navy dispatched a formation including missile destroyers to conduct exercises in the South China Sea, escalating tensions with nearby countries like the Philippines.
