A serious fire broke out at a furniture factory in Lukang, Changhua County, Taiwan, engulfing the factory premises in flames. The factory, located in the middle of a rice field, stored a large amount of combustible furniture materials and products, making the fire uncontrollable. Thick black smoke was seen billowing from the factory, and even people 100 meters away could feel the intense heat. The fire occurred at 4:13 p.m. with no casualties reported yet, as Lukang and Linsi fire teams rushed to the scene to extinguish the fire and maintain traffic control. The cause of the fire and extent of damage are still under investigation.
