At the 35th Golden Melody Awards ceremony in Taipei on June 29, MC HotDog won the award for Best Lyricist. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and love his song received, and emphasized his dedication to his music career and songwriting. Coincidentally, it was his daughter's birthday, so he jokingly declared he would be partying all night despite initially planning to go home early if he didn't win any awards.
